Which CDL & Tests You Need

A Nice Yard runs a Class A combination, so this is the Class A path.

• A Class A CDL is required for a combination rated 26,001+ lbs where the towed unit is over 10,000 lbs - our truck-and-trailer rigs.
• Class A knowledge tests: General Knowledge (everyone), Combination Vehicles, and Air Brakes (to remove the air-brake restriction).
• Add endorsement tests for the work you do: Hazmat (H), Tanker (N), Doubles/Triples (T), Passenger (P), School Bus (S).
• Use the practice tests on this site to drill each one until you pass consistently at 80%+.
