SIMA Advanced Snow Manager (ASM)

Entry-level snow & ice credential that builds credibility and helps with insurance for the snow-removal line.

Who needs it

Owners/operators offering snow & ice services. Voluntary, not a legal requirement.

Steps to get it

  1. 1 Enroll in the SIMA ASM program (Core Principles, Plowing Ops, Sidewalk Ops, Ice Management).
  2. 2 Complete the four online courses.
  3. 3 Earn the ASM certificate; pursue CSP later if snow becomes a major revenue line.

Authority & citation

SIMA Advanced Snow Manager certificate (4 courses); CSP is the advanced tier for managers.
