ATSSA Flagger Certification

Work-zone traffic-control certification needed when driveway/right-of-way or municipal work touches public roads.

Who needs it

Anyone flagging or directing traffic in a roadway work zone. Often required by DOT/municipal contracts.

Steps to get it

  1. 1 Take an ATSSA Flagger course from an authorized instructor.
  2. 2 Pass the course assessment.
  3. 3 Carry your card and recertify before it expires.
