ATSSA Flagger Certification
Work-zone traffic-control certification needed when driveway/right-of-way or municipal work touches public roads.
Who needs it
Anyone flagging or directing traffic in a roadway work zone. Often required by DOT/municipal contracts.
Steps to get it
- 1 Take an ATSSA Flagger course from an authorized instructor.
- 2 Pass the course assessment.
- 3 Carry your card and recertify before it expires.
